Here’s a photo I took while hiking into the Titcomb Basin of the Wind River Range. There were so many lakes to see along the way, each with its own unique view of the mountains! While passing, I always find myself pondering about how much I wish to return to camp at each lake and take in its unique beauty from sunrise to sunset. 8/20/2017

I took this photo on my way to Lake Agnes during a Memorial weekend trek on the Superior Hiking Trail. The entire day’s hike was shrouded in thick mist which gave the trail a mysterious atmosphere. Strange low-pitched thumping noises could be heard throughout the foggy woods – it was the call of the Ruffled Grouse.
