Here’s a photo I took while hiking into the Titcomb Basin of the Wind River Range. There were so many lakes to see along the way, each with its own unique view of the mountains! While passing, I always find myself pondering about how much I wish to return to camp at each lake and take in its unique beauty from sunrise to sunset. 8/20/2017

An 18-mile day of hiking led us to our destination of the day: Kearsarge Lakes. I just sat down for my freeze-dried meal when it started to hail. Luckily the hail was short lived and I was able to watch the sunset with my well earned dinner as the trout began their dusk feeding frenzy. Life on the JMT!
